Microsoft 365 Tenant ID Lookup

Find the Microsoft 365 / Entra ID tenant ID and region for any domain, see where its mail is hosted, and spot Exchange Online, Intune, Teams and Google Workspace DNS records.

Enter a domain and press Look up.

How to use it

  1. Type a domain (or paste an email address) and press Look up.
  2. The tenant ID comes from Microsoft's public OpenID discovery document at login.microsoftonline.com/<domain>/v2.0/.well-known/openid-configuration. Region NA, EU or WW is the tenant's data location scope, and a sub-scope of GCC means US Government Community Cloud.
  3. MX, SPF and CNAME checks use public DNS over HTTPS. *.mail.protection.outlook.com MX means Exchange Online; Proofpoint, Mimecast or Barracuda MX usually means a gateway in front of Exchange Online or Google.
  4. A tenant ID with no Microsoft mail records is common: it can be an Azure-only tenant, a viral sign-up tenant, or a Google Workspace shop that also uses Entra ID.
  5. Need the tenant ID for B2B cross-tenant access settings, Conditional Access, or a support ticket? Copy it from the result.
